OTHER PICS

Flattering, unflattering or anywhere in between...just any old photos really.

This is probably the oldest photo of me on here, and probably one of the first pictures I took with my digital camera. Hey; back then (in 2002 or 2003 I think), 2 megapixels and 16Mb internal memory was a pretty decent mid-range camera!

Taken at the first 'internet meet' I ever went to, and I wasn't molested or killed to death either. I know, it's bit of a geeky thing to do, but hey. This was in...2003 I think, it was a VerbWhore meet (folk from the Cook'd and Bomb'd messageboard...see the links page) in 'The Watershed' in Bristol, which is quite a cool pub-cum-arts and media centre. Thanks to "Torty" for the pic!

First picture from the realm of the cameraphone! I was having a stroll through Pencoed (the village I live in), and I saw a cup up a tree. I thought it was a bit odd, then carried on walking a few steps while thinking of it some more...then I looked round to make sure no-one was about, and walked back to take a photo of it. Nothing spectacular

West Of Bastard, November 2005...there was bit of a fishy theme that month, and we were treated to a couple of these cheeky little fellas on each table. They were mini water-squirters, but I used mine to suck beer out of my glass and squirt it into my mouth...as you can see from the wet table, other people weren't as successful at managing this. My mate Paul put one fish to mount the other, so I put in front, a-la spitroast. After the success of 'Finding Nemo', the work kinda tailed off, so Nemo had to take on a somewhat different role to stay in the industry.

Very unshaven and very bored...most people try and avoid a camera, but I'm not afraid.

Not quite as unshaven, and not quite as bored...although bored enough to lie on the sofa and hold a cameraphone right up to my glasses. As for that photo on the left, I decided to give the 'all-round-the-mouth' goatee a try for a while, instead of just the beard. It's a work in progress experiment at the moment.

About 3AM, New Year's Day 2006. I'd tried to go for the 'out of work actor' look, with my suit jacket, striped scarf that I got fro xmas and an umbrella used as a cane. I don't think I really looked like an out of work actor...particularly as I saw a man wearing dark green velvet trousers, a longish jacket with the collar pulled up, a white scarf with the proper kind of knot, and gloves in his pockets. He nailed the look...the bastard. Anyway, as the air was quite damp, my spikes collapsed, giving my hair this rather dashing look...which I can't recreate. But for the record, and so you can compare and contrast - this is my hair 'down'.

This is my hair 'up'.

Despite my expression, I was actually happy to see the sunshine.

I know, I know - I look like Millhouse.
