September 2011
Well, it's been about 3 years since I updated this. To be honest, it's
probably going to be about that long again - with facebook & twitter I
don't think many people need a personal website any more.
Part of the
reason I don't update this site very often is because the ISP I've
registered this site with is a dialup one - so I have to break out my
ageing Vaio laptop - it's got the dialup connection saved in it. It's a
pain in the arse to dial up to update this. Plus I don't really ever
have any news.
The only reason
I've got my laptop out now is because my PC has died - so I thought
while I catch up on 3 years worth of emails to my adamcourt.co.uk
account (I'm certain that with the exception of maybe one or two, every
email will be spam of some sort...I really hope I've not missed out on
any important emails). And while I'm on my website ISP dialup checking
emails, I thought I'd pop something on the website.
So yeah - in the
years since I last looked at this site, I've gone and got twitter! it's
twitter.com/mistercourt if you want to have a nose. I also chuck
some stuff up on audioboo.fm/mistercourt
from time to time
So, 3 years of
catching up...not that I imagine anyone really cares - much less visits
here any more! But on the off chance you have visited here and have read
this far, I'll tell you. I'm still living in Cardiff, not podcasting any
more & I'm not on the radio any more. For a few months I did Monday
drivetime 2-6pm on Bro Radio in Barry, South Wales - but the schedule
has been re-jigged, so 5/9/11 was the last Monday show I presented.
They're looking into a sorting out a different show for me, which is
really good of them...but if it's not possible, I really did enjoy
presenting at Bro. We shared some great tunes & I met some very nice
folk.
So, that's about
it - nothing really much going on & not being a full time bloke on the
wireless any more, I'm not really sure why I still have this
website...it's not really needed any more. I think I've kept it 'just in
case'. Who knows, hopefully it'll be worth it. Though with my track
record for updating this site, if I do get back on the radio, you
probably won't hear about it here first.
